A Spring Term Not to Forget

The Spring term at St Joseph’s has been as action-packed as ever.

We are enormously proud of some of the achievements of our pupils this term. This includes several pupils performing at the recent run of Carmen by the English National Opera, working alongside world-class musicians and singers. The Guardian, in its review of the production, praised the ‘vivid support’ from the ‘exuberant children’s chorus’ from St Joseph’s.

Meanwhile, our talented artists have been busy creating some superb work at our after-school art club in the inspiring surroundings of the Saatchi & Saatchi gallery and will soon the honour of seeing their artwork on display at a future exhibition. We’ve also experienced great success on the football field, particularly from our Year 5 team who have chalked up a series of impressive victories.

Finally, during this special time of year as we prepare for Easter, our school pupil Chaplaincy Team have been sharing what Lent means to them and why it is so important. In addition, Mr Stacey (Head of School) has been leading regular Stations of the Cross at St Mary’s for families with pupils at St Joseph’s.

Mrs Wyatt, Executive Head, comments: “As well as working really hard in the classroom, we’re very proud of all the incredible things that our children have achieved this term, with tremendous support and dedication from our teaching staff. Well done to them all!”
